Luckily for me, the coworker who gave me the idea mentioned in passing that he serves the fig-infused gin with prosecco and thyme. I think he must have gotten the idea from an article online, available at this link.

Just had a fig infused Gin cocktail at Chambar in Vancouver. Called the blue fig, it consisted of a straight up martini glass of infused gin served with a small bowl of crumbled stilton cheese. Lovely, just don't be tempted to put the cheese in the cocktail, just simply have taste of cheese, then a sip of gin.

ReplyDeleteI've had that Blue Fig from the Chambar earlier this year. It was sooo good! Keeps coming back to my mind. Now I'll make some for myself.....
